Dropkick Murphys have two songs in the final four of the Herald’s competition to find “the best song to come out of Boston”.

Unfortunately they didn’t quite get the information for both songs right. The first song is “Tessie” (from the “Tessie” EP released 2004 and the album “The Warrior’s Code” released 2005), the second song is “I’m Shipping Up To Boston” (from the album “The Warrior’s Code” released 2005). The US tour is going great, we’re getting down to our final few shows before we break for Thanksgiving. MLB are releasing a DVD of the 2007 World Series in 2 weeks and we’ll be in Boston for the release party. Our UK tour starts in January and is on sale already (see details here), we have finalized our European tour which goes on sale this weekend, we’ll be sending out the dates in the next day or two and yes we’re still working on St Patrick’s Day show plans so please be patient and we’ll get you out that information as soon as we have everything confirmed.
