You may have heard that Ken made a tongue-in-cheek remark about Jonathan Papelbon’s walk-on song in a recent ESPN interview.
Turns out secondary sources have misinterpreted the quote as a serious comment. It’s not! Here’s a message from the band on the story:
“What’s this we hear about us telling Papelbon he can’t use Shipping Up To Boston as his entry song? We would never do that! It was a joke, people! Maybe payback for this good shot last summer?”
